2033 or 2032, Myth:

that "Social Security goes broke."

It doesn't go belly up, Social Security payments will be decreased by about 19%.

Social Security is IN GOOD SHAPE that way. Nobody wants to see their benefits cut by about 20% now or later.

Who we vote for matters.

And remind anybody who tries to sound fatalistic about voting, that, "...we probably won't get to vote." Remind these ppl that nobody has a crystal ball.

Fascists would love nothing more than to have us all give up and bend over in total apathy. They would win--and our apathy or negative attitude helped the greedy fascists.

SCREW THEM.

That myth Jess repeated in error in this video has been corrected by me based on experts, like Executive Director of Social Security Works, Alex Lawson. His organization is an advocacy group which protects Social Security recipients from lies and BS, mostly from the reichwing who want us to give up on OUR hard-earned money to them.

Please Google them. They are a trusted source for all issues on our Social Security. Jess: Please get your facts straight. We don't need anymore confusion, or panic!!!!

I gasped when I read the e-mail from the SSA. While I wasn't surprised that the Trump Administration was lying to us, I just thought they would send such a blatantly partisan e-mail with the SSA. Really thinking about it I shouldn't be surprised, but I just don't remember receiving anything like this before. I'm really livid that they sent out lying self promotion through official channels that shouldn't have been used for this sort of communication.
