It *might* be a partisan thing. If the incel team of unelected co-President Musk can get ahold of, say, ActBlue donor lists or other lists of Democratic activists and use that to only cut off the Social Security, Medicare, and other federal benefits for those hundred million people or so and keep the benefits flowing for others.

I have a republican family so I speak to her regularly and carefully bring up points like this.
