Call GOP Senators! (Even if your senator is a Dem, this is a nation-wide vote that affects us all!) Lie if you have to/ want to--though you will most likely get an answering machine so can say whatever you want. I tell them: "I voted for you but I will work AGAINST you if you vote for this horrible bill!" Make them feel the heat! the bastards...
And if you live in a blue state, call your Senators and tell them to vote no and also to use every single procedural tool they have to obstruct this bill.
I always leave mine. I have to imagine there's more people calling them opposed to this bill than they could ever surveil or ‘retaliate’ against, if that's what you are worried about. And I keep reminding myself that hiding my opinions and identity is giving this administration more credibility than it deserves. It's not THAT powerful, so hiding my full identity feels like a form of harboring unwarranted fear and complying in advance. Just my two cents.
Thank you for giving me the *push* to make the calls to my Indiana senators!
Can we lie about our zip code too? I do not have a Republican senator. I am desperate to contact these people and for them to listen to me.

Called my Dem senators and posted on FB.
And if you live in Pennsylvania like me, call your Senator Fetterman who acts like a republican and tell him too!
Is it safe to leave your last name in messages for Republicans? I usually don’t.
