If you text 50409, first type CONGRESS then MANUAL. Next, write about your single issue. Here’s what I said: The president does not have the power to declare war in Iran.  That is a power of Congress. Please sign on to the resolutions moving through BOTH houses of congress to avoid US involvement in another forever war. Feel free to copy and paste. Took less than one minute.

I just tried calling Senator Schiff's office and the message center is full. Was able to leave comments with Sen Padilla and Rep Brownley.

It's interesting to me that we need a piece of legislation to tell our legislators to do the job already given to them.

This is rather moot to call your Congressman, who makes the decision whether or not our troops go to war, because they won't do anything. They haven't done anything since he came into office. They have been bought to look the other way and turn their backs on their constituents and this country. Our three branches of government are only operating on one, the judicial, which is a damn shame!

This one was fun to share with the NY21 Representative who we are pretty convinced uses our contact notes for bonfire kindling. Ad-libbed a bit. We positioned it that we wanted to be sure that she was respected and not ignored in her role representing We The People, that there had been far too much or that already and that the role of our Congress must be followed as stipulated in The Constitution. It was put in a way that both appealed to her ego and pointed out the consequences she had already earned by misrepresenting both her constituents and the truth of her voting record.
